FLOW - relaxed fit tee

All the good things in life come when you embrace a state of flow—moving with ease, not forcing, but letting things unfold as they’re meant to. As Roman philosopher Epictetus said over 2,000 years ago: “Don’t wish for things to happen as you wish they would; wish for things to happen as they actually will, then your life will flow well.”

Flow is like the art of detachment. It’s great to have a goal — love, fulfillment, peace, freedom — but keep that goal flexible and open as to how you'll get there. You might have a plan, but if it doesn’t go as expected, adapt. Flow means trusting the universe to guide you in ways you couldn’t have predicted. When you release control, life has a way of showing you a path that serves you even better than you imagined.

Flow is also about stepping out of the overthinking mind. Overthinking is the enemy of intuition—it clouds the signs and guidance the universe is constantly sending. Just like a basketball player who’s rehearsed his shot so many times, in the heat of the game, he no longer thinks. He lets his muscle memory take over, entering a flow state where everything aligns effortlessly.

That’s the energy I wanted to capture in this design. The word “Flow” carries a calm, soothing vibe, the opposite of friction or forcing things. The concept of flow also ties into other passions of mine—fashion and music. In fashion, you have a good flow when style feels effortless and stylish. In music, it’s the smooth cadence of a rapper in rhythm with the beat. 

The back of this T-shirt features silhouettes of a basketball player’s movement, inspired by a reel I saw on Instagram of a free throw. His movement was beautiful, extremely well danced and clean. You could tell he trained a lot to reach this state of flow.
I took screenshots of key moments in the video and hand-drew his silhouette on my iPad. I especially loved the final flick of his wrist—the perfect, stylish finish to a moment of flow.

On the front, I made this logo as I was trying to capture different geometrical elements that I like and create solething new, like a triangle mixing with a circle. As I played around with it, four triangles naturally formed a square, I added a husi in the middle and voilà :)

This premium T-shirt is crafted from heavy-weight 240gsm, 100% organic cotton fabric with nice dry hand feel (not fluffy warm), making it comfortable for all temperatures. The relaxed fit (between regular and oversized, more info down below) and dropped sleeves give a great looking silhouette, while the well-structured collar stays flat and not wobbly.

The fabric is looking clean and straight, no small creases, perfect dressed-up and casual moments. It adapts well from warm dance floors to cooler outdoors, with a fabric constructed in a way that somehow doesn't reveal sweat marks.
Care is simple: wash at 30°C inside out, no tumble drying, and hang to dry on hanger for a crisp look (and no ironing :p)
