'REAL' PEOPLE - relaxed fit tee

This t-shirt is about connection and valuing authentic/real relationships with people.
Valuing having real conversations (in parties, drinks/coffees, lunch/dinners), where we get vulnerable and open to share how we truly feel inside. I found that it’s often by opening-up yourself first, that people often tend to feel that “it’s ok/it’s safe” to open-up too.
Being grateful for the few people around us with which we can show our true self, share the struggles we often hide from people.
Opening-up makes you feel less alone, and can actually enable you to find your people. As I like to say “Be yourself, so that people looking for you can find you”. 

Who knows, maybe the person reading your t-shirt might now feel safer to open-up to you, and start a “real” conversation? :)

Design backstory
The back: When I saw this quote I straight away felt something. I think it’s the mix of several elements that I like: there’s the fun & party elements from mentioning the “3AM”, there is the deeper element by addressing the topic of “being real” and finally the topic of “vulnerability”, something that is rarely practiced in general and often even less among men. I then re-wrote the quote, using my finger (as usual haha), on my iPad.

The little guy at the bottom right: I love fashion, and colors, and I was struck by the color combination of his neon lime top and red-fuschia jogging bottom. When I saw this kid from my living room window, a random week-day afternoon working from home, I jumped out of my seat and took a picture of him. He seemed halfway in-his-head, halfway bored, just pushing the football, I liked his chill vibe. I then used my ipad to re-draw the picture in a digital format, which I used for the t-shirt print. I think I decided to have him in the design because he matched somehow well with the quote, he’s being himself, simple, doing it’s own thing.
The front: taking one of my early logos for shape, I simply filled the logo itself by doing mini lines made of writings of “husihusihusihusi…”. Fun fact, it’s written so small that 90-100% of people will think it’s an embroidery, when it’s actually a print :)
